MESOTHERAPY / SKIN BOOSTERS

Mesotherapy was developed by a French doctor back in the 50s. Since then, the French National Academy of Medicine acknowledged it as a medical speciality.

Small injections of rejuvenating or healing substances are performed into the skin.

In the case of Micro-needled Mesotherapy (Micro Mesotherapy), the technique has been improved. An automated Micro-needling device allows superficial and homogeneous micro-injections of active and essential ingredients on the whole face.

Micro-Needled Mesotherapy combines, in one treatment, the benefits of 2 procedures allowing various facial improvements.

The bioactive products and compounds delivered into the dermis will improve the physiological environment of skin cells, stimulate cellular activity, increase the natural synthesis of collagen, elastin and Hyaluronic Acid.

The technique will improve the health and the appearance of the skin.

SYSTEM AND PRODUCTS USED

Micro-Needled Mesotherapy is a new safe treatment that combines in one treatment two procedures: MicroNeedling and Intra-Dermal delivery of mesotherapy products.

This technique uses carefully selected mesotherapy ingredients, adapted to each patient case: Epidermal Growth Factor and Fibroblast Growth Factors (promote cellular growth, proliferation, and differentiation, key to the skin’s repair, renewal and regeneration), Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 (improves the appearance of fine lines and increase elasticity of the skin), Hyaluronic Acid (adds volume, helps protect the skin from moisture loss and promotes fibroblast activation), Vitamines, C, B2, D2, B3, B6, H, B5 (help guard against free radical damage while increasing resistance to photo-aging and supporting cell metabolism), Copper Peptides (promotes healing while reducing inflammation and helps stimulate collagen synthesis which improves the appearance of fine lines).

HOW IT WORKS

The use of an automated Micro-Needling device allows to apply the bioactive products in micro doses with surgical precision to the affected areas.

The tiny needles create micro-channels in order to deliver the active and essential ingredients at the intra-dermal level.

Professional Micro-Needling devices propose different depth settings, allowing the practitioner to propose a personalized treatment adapted to each patient skin.

Those precise depth settings assure to systematically reach the intradermal level to get the best results, nourishing and refreshing the skin.

MicroNeedled Mesotherapy, using a micro-needles head, allows to treat easily and homogeneously each square centimetre of the face.

This new delivery method is minimally invasive, and is not associated with the same risks of pain, bleeding or bruising classically feared by patients when using the traditional manual technique.

Micro-Needled Mesotherapy is also a great technique for patients frightened of needles: the needles are very small (micro-needles) and hidden in the head of the device.

EFFECTS

Micro-Needled Mesotherapy combines, in one treatment, the benefits of 2 procedures, allowing various facial improvements.

MicroNeedling, even with the limited depth used in this procedure, increases the local microcirculation (better tissue metabolism and nutrition, more growth factors, better vitality), improves the regeneration power of the cells and the collagen and elastin production. It results in a thicker and more elastic and tightened skin. It also improves facial laxity, fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, sun damages, age spots and dark circle under the eyes.

Local Intra-dermal therapy (Mesotherapy) promotes cellular growth, proliferation, and differentiation, key to the skin’s repair, renewal and regeneration ; improves the appearance of fine lines and increase elasticity of the skin ; adds volume, helps protect the skin from moisture loss and promotes fibroblast activation ; helps guard against free radical damage while increasing resistance to photo-aging and supporting cell metabolism ; promotes healing while reducing inflammation and helps stimulate collagen synthesis which improves the appearance of fine lines.

INDICATIONS

Can safely treat all skin types to address a variety of concerns, improving skin integrity and appearance and resulting in a degree of photo-protection.

Typical indications are:

  • poor skin texture, skin roughness, skin touch imperfections, dull skin,

  • dehydrated, menopausal skin,

  • loss of skin elasticity,

  • tired skin under the eyes,

  • fine lines and wrinkles,

  • aging neck.

DURATION OF TREATMENT

The depth of microneedling is limited in this procedure, therefore it only causes a tolerable discomfort and allows to avoid the use of a numbing cream.

The total duration is approx. 30-45 min.

RECOVERY AFTER TREATMENT / DOWN TIME

Very minimal recovery period.

You will be able to resume your daily life almost straight away.

You may notice some redness or mild swelling, but this should subside within the first 24-48 hours of the procedure.

RESULTS *

The skin will feel tighter, look more hydrated, glow more, for a natural and fresh look.

The effects should last for a few months.

For best results, a course of 3 to 6 treatments are recommended (at 3 weeks intervals), with a maintenance treatment every six months.

A gentle skin peeling (MicroDermabrasion) is an excellent preparation before treatment as this improves the active substance uptake.

Depending on the indication, it can be interesting to combine Microneedled Mesotherapy with other treatments.

PRE TREATMENT CONSULTATION

As for all the procedures proposed, the treatment will only be administered after a free pre-treatment consultation.

During this consultation, the concerns of the patient will be discussed, a full assessment carried out, a tailored treatment proposed, alternative options, prices, cautions and contraindications discussed.

Finally, written and detailed information will be given to the patient who will be able to take it away and read it before making their decision.

*Please be aware that results and benefits may vary from patient to patient depending on factors such as age, lifestyle and medical history.
