SYSTEM AND PRODUCTS USED

​Micro-Needled MesoTox is a new safe treatment that combines in one treatment two procedures: MicroNeedling and Intra-Dermal Botulinum toxin.

​

This technique offers the possibility to use other mesotherapy products, carefully selected and adapted to each patient case, to further enhance the results of the treatment: Epidermal Growth Factor and Fibroblast Growth Factors (promote cellular growth, proliferation, and differentiation, key to the skin’s repair, renewal and regeneration), Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 (improves the appearance of fine lines and increase elasticity of the skin), Hyaluronic Acid (adds volume and helps protect the skin from moisture loss), Vitamines, C, B2, D2, B3, B6, H, B5 (help guard against free radical damage while increasing resistance to photo-aging and supporting cell metabolism), Copper Peptides (promotes healing while reducing inflammation and helps stimulate collagen synthesis which improves the appearance of fine lines).

HOW IT WORKS

​

Research during the last 20 years has shown that Botulinum Toxin has interesting skin rejuvenating and healing properties.  

​

The use of an automated Micro-Needling device allows to apply Botulinum Toxin in micro doses with surgical precision to the affected areas.

The tiny needles create micro-channels in order to deliver the Botulinum toxin at the intra-dermal level. 

Professional Micro-Needling devices propose different depth settings, allowing the practitioner to propose a personalized treatment adapted to each patient skin.

Those precise depth settings assure to systematically reach the intradermal level which is shown to result in best oiliness improvements than the intramuscular level.

The insurance of intradermal injections also assure that only small and regular amount of Botulinum Toxin can reach the superficial muscle fibres. It preserves the function of the underlying muscle fibres, and allows to treat areas of the face generally avoided with traditional manual technique because of the risk of diffusion of neurotoxin into untargeted muscles.

MesoTox, using a micro-needles head, allows to treat homogeneously each square centimetre of the face to get the best result possible and avoid compensatory sebum production in zones that would be otherwise less treated or not treated at all. 

This new delivery method is not associated with the same risks of pain, bruising or frozen look classicaly feared by patients when using the traditional manual technique. 

Micro-Needled MesoTox is also a great technique for patients frightened of needles: the needles are very small (micro-needles) and hidden in the head of the device.

EFFECTS

​

Micro-Needled MesoTox combines, in one treatment, the benefits of 2 procedures, allowing various facial improvements.

​

MicroNeedling increases the local microcirculation (better tissue metabolism and nutrition, more growth factors, better vitality), improves the regeneration power of the cells, the collagen and elastin production, and breaks fibrosis tissue. It results in a thicker and more elastic and tightened skin. It also improves facial laxity and sagging skin, fine lines and wrinkles, acne and facial scarring, enlarged pores, sun damages, stretch marks, age spots​​​​ and dark circle under the eyes.

Intra-dermal Botulinum Toxin reduces oiliness (improving dermatologic problems associated) and facial pores size. Various other interesting effects have been described: anti-inflammatory effect, anti-itch effect, better wound healing, improvement of cutaneous elasticity, pliability and viscoelastic properties, reduction of the thickness of hypertrophic scars, anti-photoageing potential. Furthermore the small quantities of Botulinum Toxin injected intradermally relaxes only the superficial muscle fibres and can bring a mild and natural anti-wrinkle preventive effect.

INDICATIONS

Can safely treat all skin types to address a variety of concerns.

• Typical indications for a Skin Rejuvenating effect are:

  • poor skin texture, skin roughness, skin touch imperfections, dull skin,

  • facial laxity, sagging skin,

  • fine lines and wrinkles, 

  • aging neck,

• Typical indications for a Skin Healing effect are:

  • oily skin, Acne, enlarged pores,

  • keloids and hypertrophic scars, acne scars,

  • recalcitrant plaques of PsoriasisVulgaris (5cm max),

  • facial erythema and flushing (including flushing of Rosacea)

DURATION OF TREATMENT

​

The depth of microneedling is limited in this procedure, therefore it only causes a tolerable discomfort and allows to avoid the use of a numbing cream.

The total duration is approx. 30-45 min.

RECOVERY AFTER TREATMENT / DOWN TIME

​

Very minimal recovery period. 

You will be able to resume your daily life almost straight away.

You may notice some redness or mild swelling, but this should subside within the first 24-48 hours of the procedure.

RESULTS *

​

Some patients will start noticing the results within a couple of weeks after the treatment but it can take a few weeks before reaching the optimal results.

The effects should last for a few months (3-4 months).

​

Depending on the indication, it can be interesting to combine Microneedled Mesotox with other treatments.
